Setting the scene

  1. 1Tie a length of string to the candy cane and bend a paper clip into a hook at the end.
  2. 2Fill a bowl with marshmallows to make the lake.
  3. 3Sit the elf at the edge holding the rod, with the hook dangling in the bowl.
  4. 4Hook one marshmallow on the line for the triumphant catch.
