  • Long string or yarn
  • A paper clip
  • Two chairs or sturdy furniture legs

Setting the scene

  1. 1Tie string tightly between two chairs, with one end a little higher than the other.
  2. 2Bend a paper clip into a hook and hang the elf from it.
  3. 3Place the elf partway down the line, arms in the air.
