Leprechaun Mischief Notice

Form LC-1 · Notice of Authorised Leprechaun Mischief

Leprechauns are permitted a certain amount of mischief every March, provided it's filed properly. The Leprechaun Compliance Unit's notice records exactly what happened overnight (green footprints, a tipped-over chair, a trap inspected and escaped) with an official mischief rating, a note about gold and the Officer of Gold & Mischief's signature.

Questions from grown-ups

Leprechaun Mischief Notice

Plain answers about this document, for the grown-ups doing the filing.

Q.1What does a leprechaun note say?

Usually it admits to some mischief, compliments the trap, explains the escape and leaves a little treasure. The Mischief Notice does all of that in official form.

Q.2What is a leprechaun trap?

A homemade contraption, often a decorated box with a ladder and some shiny bait, built to catch a leprechaun on the night before St. Patrick's Day. They never quite work, which is the fun.

Q.3Is the leprechaun mischief ever mean?

Never. Leprechaun Compliance keeps mischief playful: tipped chairs and green footprints, never anything broken or upsetting.
